The use of mobile learning in China's rural areas

Mobile learning (m-learning), as a new mode of e-learning, will become one of the major ways of offering distance education. Providing information about technology for learning -- an important part of China's development strategy for rural areas -- together with the development of a lifelong education system is the only way to train people in rural areas to use information technology.

This paper looks at the research and current status of m-learning and offers insights for China's Central Radio and TV University in its efforts to increase awareness of technology in rural areas of China.
