Examining literary courses in online distance education

This paper is concerned with the use of modern online technology in an effort to solve problems associated with the traditional pen-and-paper examinations for literary courses in online distance education. The online examination system differs from the traditional one in several ways, e.g.

The online system for examining literary courses has had beneficial effects, but there is a need for further improvement in controlling the process and standardizing the grading of subjective questions.
